Handbuilding transfer ceramics

In this 3 hour class students will be shown how to create beautiful ceramic underglaze and transfer paper pieces such as plates, bowls and ornamental pieces from scratch using the slab method and Japanese wooden moulds.

Students should be able to complete 2-3 pieces. All work will be painted with a clear glaze by the tutor after they have been bisque fired, then fired again ready for collection around three weeks after the class, students will be notified via email when ready to pick up.

When: Saturday, 29th of November, 2pm - 5pm

Where:  Fawkner Neighbourhood House 79 Jukes Road, Fawkner (small orange brick building at the back of the car park)
