Making Together

Are you a creative woman who feels drawn to explore more ways to support your wellbeing and connect to community?

Do you dream of starting a creative business one day?

Have you considered further education to pursue your creative skills and interests?

Merri Maker Mums is a community for mothers of all ages in Merri-bek. A creative space of belonging; one that elevates the skills and knowledge of community members to foster leadership and expression. Diverse creative skills welcome.

Meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 10am-1pm.

Making Together is a 12 month program throughout July 2026 - June 2027. Merri Maker Mums is collaborating with local businesses and practitioners to offer our members new experiences, skills development, leadership opportunities and employment or education pathways. We offer a program of monthly creative & wellbeing workshops.

Workshop activities vary each month and can include:

  • floristry

  • sewing

  • parenting strategies

  • education & work pathways

  • vocal play

  • baking

  • jewellery making

  • women’s physio education

  • circus skills

Members are invited to bring projects and/or materials they are working on, and food to share. (Optional)

All ages and stages of motherhood welcome.

Children welcome. (Some childcare provided.)
